Progress Lab 1422
Tara Cheyenne Performance is a proud is a tenant at Progress Lab 1422 (PL 1422), a 7000 sq ft shared performing arts space for creation and development in East Vancouver on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Founded in 2009 by Neworld Theatre, Electric Company, Rumble and Boca del Lupo, PL 1422 remains home to three of the founding companies (Rumble, Electric Company, Neworld) while welcoming Company 605, Playwrights Theatre Centre (PTC), rice & beans theatre, Theatre Conspiracy, The Frank Theatre, and TCP into the fold. PL 1422 is managed by Vancouver Creative Space Society (C-Space), a not-for-profit society co-managed by its resident organizations. PL 1422 continues to be a vital presence in our community, providing exceptional, readily available and affordable creative space to the theatre industry and the wider arts sector.
